The Division of Accounting, Finance, MIS, and Economics in the College of Business at Governors State University in the greater Chicago area (University Park, Illinois, USA), seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics beginning August 2017. The successful candidate will be academically qualified with a PhD or ABD in Economics with the ability to teach courses in Macroeconomics, Econometrics and International Economics.

In addition to outstanding teaching skills, we expect the candidate to demonstrate an interest or ability in working with non-traditional or diverse student populations, show evidence of a potential or distinguished record of scholarship consistent with tenure-track expectations, and participate in substantive professional and university service activities via projects, committees or other leadership roles.
