The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Economics beginning no later than August 16, 2017. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics (ABD considered). We prefer candidates who have demonstrated excellence in both teaching and research. Preference will be given to economists specializing in macroeconomics.

UCA is located in Conway, Arkansas and enrolls approximately 11,700 students. The College of Business (COB) (http://uca.edu/business) occupies a recently constructed 70,000 square foot state-of-the-art building which houses four academic departments including Economics, Finance, Insurance, and Risk Management Department (EFIRM). The COB offers twelve undergraduate degree programs and two programs at the master's level (MAcc and MBA), with typical enrollment in the college averaging approximately 1,200 undergraduates and 75 graduate students. EFIRM has 15 full-time faculty members who support about 230 majors in five degree programs (3 Economics, Finance, and Insurance & Risk Management). UCA is an AA/EEO employer.
