One tenure-line opening at the rank of assistant or associate professor in applied development economics, beginning Fall 2017. Candidates must be able to advise PhD students and supervise doctoral dissertations. Candidates should have an interest in policy-relevant research, strong econometric skills, and excellent teaching credentials at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful applicant must have an interest in and demonstrate the potential for attaining external research funding.

Applicants should have a PhD or anticipated PhD completion by August 2017. Applications must include a cover letter or statement, curriculum vitae, sample research paper, and letters from three references and must be sent to. Consideration of applications will continue until the position is filled, but complete applications received by November 30, 2016 will receive priority for interviews at the ASSA meetings in January 2017.
