Applications are invited for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level beginning in Fall 2017. We will consider candidates in microeconomics, game theory, behavioral economics or finance, industrial organization, and information, uncertainty and risk. An appointee is expected to engage in high-quality research publishable in top journals, be an effective classroom teacher at the undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. levels, and assist individual students in research projects, theses and dissertations. Candidates must be able to teach in the Ph.D. core microeconomic theory sequence. Ability to contribute to our MA program in Financial Economics is also desirable.

Applications must be submitted by November 28, 2016 to ensure full consideration for an interview at the January ASSA meetings. We will begin processing applications immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the start date of this position, but may be ABD when applying.
