Full Text of JOE Listing:

Oxford Policy Management is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist – Impact & Evaluation (Post-Doctoral) with an Econometrics background, to join our Quantitative Impact Evaluation Hub in our M&E Portfolio. We are able to offer this opportunity on a full or part-time basis.

OPM has conducted over 170 M&E projects in over 50 countries worldwide. The quality of our work is ensured by the presence of a dedicated M&E team, who work closely with sector experts across OPM to deliver methodologically robust M&E projects. These are designed to maximise usefulness for improving policies and programmes to reduce poverty and disadvantage.

You will play a leading role in the hub’s intellectual reputation development activities, including developing academic journal articles out of our project work, presenting at academic conferences, and actively engaging with the impact evaluation community. You will also lead on the design of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations and econometric analysis, and provide technical quality assurance to impact evaluation projects.

You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline (economics, development economics or other social science discipline). You will also have gained experience in leading/conducting quantitative impact evaluation projects and of managing large-scale data collection activities and surveys, in developing countries.
