Essential Functions of the Position:
• Effectively teach undergraduate and graduate courses in corporate finance, investments and other courses consistent with academic preparation.
• Continuing contributions of scholarship, consistent with standards of performance required for continuing appointment (tenure), and Scholarly Academic (SA) per AACSB standards.
• Competent career and academic advisement of students.
• Participation in program/curriculum development.
• Service activities consistent with the needs of the Department, School, College, and profession.
• Continuous professional development.
• Interaction with stakeholders in a professional and collegial manner.

Required:
• Doctorate in finance or financial economics (in-hand by Fall 2017 for tenure-track appointment), or Ph. D. and qualified to teach Finance through an AACSB accredited bridge program.
• Demonstrated student focus and effectiveness or demonstrable potential for teaching finance courses.
• Scholarly potential demonstrated by publications or high-quality work in progress and research plan.
• Ability to teach in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred:
• Doctorate in-hand from an AACSB-accredited institution.
• Recent publications relevant to discipline.
• Relevant work experience.
• Relevant professional certification.
• Experience teaching finance courses.
