The Samford Chair will provide leadership in insurance and risk management research and education for the Culverhouse College of Commerce and The University of Alabama. The Samford Chair is expected to maintain an internationally-recognized level of research scholarship with publications in top-tier journals and work closely with graduate students and other faculty members in the department and college.
