The Davidson College Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship beginning August 1, 2017. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Intermediate Macroeconomics and Applied Macroeconomic electives, such as Open Economy Macroeconomics and related macroeconomic topics, and must be prepared to teach the core major courses per departmental needs.

A candidate should possess demonstrated teaching ability and an active research program in her/his teaching areas. Ph.D. should be in hand by July 2017. The annual teaching load is four courses in the first year only, and five courses thereafter. Travel and summer research funding is available.
