The Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR) at Jinan University, founded in 2015, is dedicated to build a world-renowned research program in applied economics and collect high quality micro-level survey data in China. IESR warmly invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks and in all fields of applied economics. Our priority will be given to labor economics, economics of education, health economics, environmental economics, development economics, international trade, industrial organization, microeconometrics, macroeconomics and finance.
Candidates at the rank of associate or full professor must have demonstrated an excellent record in research and teaching. Candidates at the assistant professor level should have a Ph.D. already in hand or firmly expected by August 2017.
