Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Council on Foreign Relations is seeking applicants for the 2017-2018 International Affairs Fellowship (IAF) in International Economics. The program provides business economists and university-based economics scholars hands-on experience in the U.S. government so that they can expand their range of thinking and work on international economic policy. Possible placements for the twelve month fellowship include but are not limited to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of State, and the White House.

The program awards a stipend in the range of $150,000 to $175,000 along with modest relocation assistance.

Qualified candidates must be mid-career business economists or university-based economics scholars who have a demonstrated commitment to a career in international economics or a related field. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold a PhD in economics or a closely related discipline.
