The Schroeder School of Business at the University of Evansville invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2017. Prospective candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics. Applicants currently in the final dissertation stage will be considered.
Each position entails a teaching assignment of three courses per semester. Areas include principles of economics, intermediate theory, quantitative methods, a senior-level research seminar for economics majors, and an upper-level course subject to the interests of the applicant and the needs of the University. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide evidence of outstanding teaching.
Successful progress toward tenure requires a research program that culminates in publication in competitive, refereed journals and standard service obligations including economic outreach to the local community.
