The Department of Economics in the Miller College of Business at Ball State University invites nominations and applications to fill a full-time tenured or tenure track position in Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Economics.

Major responsibilities: 1) Develop and implement a research agenda that will garner national recognition through published scholarship in free enterprise and entrepreneurial economics and related fields; 2) Play a leadership role in free enterprise and entrepreneurial economics related research in the Department of Economics; 3) Develop and deliver a curriculum in free enterprise and entrepreneurial economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels; 4) Initiate and collaborate on external grant writing; and 5) Participate in the John H. Schnatter Institute for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise activities and initiatives.

Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or related field from an accredited college or university and commitment to excellent research and teaching.

Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated potential for excellence in research, teaching and leadership in areas related to free enterprise and entrepreneurial economics.
