Full Text of JOE Listing:

Both theoretically or empirically working candidates with specializations in any field of Microeconomics are welcome. The candidate’s main objective should be the development of a strong research record with high quality publications in top general interest and top field journals. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the teaching of the core Microeconomics courses at the Bachelor level and to provide advanced courses in accordance with his or her field of specialization at the Master level. Teaching can be in English or German.

The Department encourages and supports the candidate in the acquisition of third-party research funding (e.g. ERC, SNF). The gross annual salary is subject to the regulations of the Kanton of Bern and ranges from CHF 130’000.-- to CHF 140’000.--, depending on age and qualifications.
