The Department of Economics at Colby College invites applications for a visiting assistant professor one-year replacement position beginning September 1, 2016. We seek candidates with a strong demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses. Although we will consider candidates with a specialization in any field in economics, we are especially interested in candidates who can broaden the diversity of our course offerings. Teaching load is five courses during the 2016-2017 academic year with the likely possibility of offering multiple sections of one course. Ph.D. preferred; ABD considered.
