The Department of Economics invites applications for a three year non-tenure track position at the rank of Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor in macroeconomics, beginning in the fall of 2016. The college is especially interested in candidates from under-represented groups as well as individuals who have experience with diverse populations who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and research. Applicants must possess a strong desire to work in a liberal arts environment with a reputation for excellent teaching. The successful candidate will teach both required and elective courses at the introductory, intermediate and advanced level. Highest priority fields are macro and monetary economics. The standard teaching load for non-tenure line faculty is six courses per year.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics, although advanced ABDs may be considered. We encourage applications from historically under-represented groups as well as individuals who have experience teaching in a multi-cultural classroom.
