Creighton University's Institute for Economic Inquiry seeks a qualified applicant for our Research Director position starting in the fall semester 2016. Qualified applicants will exhibit ability to communicate orally and in writing about contemporary economic and policy issues. The Research Director coordinates student research, is an editor for institute policy papers, op-eds, and blog posts, and is an adjunct instructor in the department of economics and finance, teaching no more than four principles of economics courses per year. The Research Director will revise program goals for the student research program on a continuing basis as the program evolves and grows.

The Creighton Institute for Economic Inquiry is in the Heider College of Business at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Creighton University has been consistently ranked the #1 Midwest Regional University by US News and World Report. The Institute for Economic Inquiry facilitates student research, produces original policy research, and engages the Omaha community and region on policy issues of significance.

The Research Director position is a one-year term position that is a grant-funded, professional, twelve-month salaried position.
