Position Title: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics, Finance, and International Business seeks a full-time faculty member. Area of specialization is open. As the School of Business and Management is in the process of seeking AACSB accreditation, candidates would be primarily responsible for teaching a range of core economics courses and courses in their specialty, mentoring and advising students, and maintaining an active research/scholarship program consistent with AACSB expectations. Ideally, applicants will have an active research program, publication track record, and prior experience in teaching.

Responsibilities: Teaching, mentoring, research/scholarship, university community service.

Level: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor

Qualifications: All applicants must hold a Ph.D. from an accredited University (ABD with dissertation expected to be completed by June 2016 will be considered).

Experience: Excellence in university teaching, a strong evangelical Christian commitment, experience in service to a university, evidence of scholarly research and publications in the field of Economics are expected.

Workload:
10-month position. Teach undergraduate and MBA courses in Economics, advise students, conduct research, and participate in university service and leadership.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.

Hire Date: Open until filled. Interviews available at the ASSA meetings January 3 – 5, 2016.
