Salary: AUD$92,654 – AUD$110,022 p.a. + 17% superannuation

Two positions available and each will work as a member of a team on a research project, funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC).

There are two projects:

"Evaluating the Macroeconomic Consequences of Macroprudential Policies"; and

"The Macroeconomics Effects of Global Uncertainty".

These positions would suit those who have recently completed their PhD (or are expected to complete very soon). Experience working with DSGE models is essential for both projects.

For the Uncertainty project, experience with nonlinear frameworks, such as regime-switching models, smooth-transition VARs, and interacted-VARs, would be ideal.

For the macroprudential project, experience estimating DSGE and/or SVAR models and conducting policy analysis using these models would be an asset.

For both projects, a knowledge of the literature and data dealing with the area would be a very welcome plus.
