The Department of Marketing and Economics in the College of Business at the University of West Florida invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, starting August, 2016 and dependent upon funding.

A Ph.D. in Economics from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is desirable. ABDs will also be considered. Candidates must show willingness to teach in different fields of Economics. Candidates must demonstrate productive research potential in areas of applied microeconomics such as Public Economics, Urban and Regional Economics, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics or Industrial Economics.

The selected candidate must show excellent teaching credentials and a commitment to publish scholarly research in peer reviewed journals. Salary will be AACSB competitive.

The preferred response date is December 11, 2015. The position will remain open until filled.
