3ie is an international non-profit organization dedicated to improving development outcomes through better use of evidence from quality impact evaluations (IEs). 3ie supports grant programmes to fund and quality assure impact evaluations of development interventions in low- and middle-income countries. It also produces, funds and disseminates syntheses of IEs and supports quality impact evaluation through professional services provided to donors, governments, and implementing agencies. 3ie is seeking two (2) Evaluation Specialists to serve in its main office in New Delhi, India. The functions of Evaluation Specialists include, but are not limited to, technical review of 3ie-funded IEs, management of grant windows and grantee relations, fundraising and maintaining donor relationships, conducting research related to IE including scoping papers and evidence gap maps, and provision of advisory services and capacity building activities. Applicants should have a PhD in economics or applied economics, or a Masters degree and at least three years of work experience in a field that requires advanced knowledge of econometric techniques. The candidate should have proven in-depth knowledge of sampling strategies, power calculations and impact evaluation techniques. Some experience in designing optimal impact evaluations and monitoring implementation is preferred.
