The Department of Economics anticipates an opening for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level beginning September 16, 2016. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (or be ABD if the Ph.D. can be completed by time of appointment); and they must have labor economics as their primary field, a demonstrated strong research ability, and a record of teaching effectiveness or demonstrated clear potential. Review of application and materials begins November 20, 2015 and continues until position is filled. Interviews will be conducted at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco, CA January 3-5, 2016. Priority for interview scheduling will be given to applications received by December 1, 2015.
