The Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a candidate for a one year temporary position as a member of a NSF research team entitled "the Solar-Water Environment Nexus in Nevada." The successful candidate will conduct research in energy and natural resource economics, and must demonstrate strong applied econometrics skills and other quantitative skills including operations research. A PhD in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, or an equivalent field is required by July 1, 2016. Candidates must also demonstrate the potential to be successful in research and publications, and the ability to work cooperatively as a member of an interdisciplinary research team.
