Full Text of JOE Listing:

Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The position is available starting July 1, 2016. A terminal degree in health economics and/or health informatics or closely related field is preferred. Candidates in the final stages of completing their dissertation will be considered.

Instructional responsibilities include the undergraduate program in the health sciences, the global public health concentration, and/or introductory and advanced courses in health professional programs. Opportunities for elective courses in the candidate’s area of expertise will be available. The candidate must have a commitment to teaching and research at the undergraduate level. Startup funds and research space are available. The College supports an interdisciplinary environment for scholarly activity; collaborative research is encouraged.

Review of applicants will begin December 1, 2015 and continue until the position has been filled. Salary is competitive and dependent on qualifications and experience.
