Subject to budgetary approval, the Department of Economics and Finance anticipates a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Microeconomics beginning August 2016. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Economics (ABD’s nearing completion will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with a terminal degree from an AACSB-accredited institution.) Candidates must have an active research agenda in any area of Applied Microeconomics as well as demonstrated teaching excellence. In addition to principles-, intermediate-, and graduate-level theory courses in Microeconomics, candidates are expected to teach Microeconomics- related electives as well as Mathematical Methods and Statistics/Econometrics.
