Assistant professor in applied micro with preference for policy relevance. Teach undergraduate and potentially graduate courses, including statistics and econometrics. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and publication in refereed journals. Participate in a new interdisciplinary center for free enterprise research, collaborating with faculty and students to conduct applied research and thought leadership on public policies related to economic development.

Ph.D. in Economics or a related discipline is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered if degree completion is imminent. Normal teaching load is nine hours per semester. Salary is competitive. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the Southern Economic Association meetings.
