The School of Economics and Political Science of the University of St. Gallen wishes to appoint an
Assistant Professor in Quantitative Economics by August 1st, 2016, or by mutual agreement. Experience with Big Data will be an important asset.

To be considered for this position, applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics or Statistics and a promising track record in research. The appointment is for 6 years (non-tenure track). The teaching load will be two classes (four hours) per week (24 weeks p.a.). Applications from qualified women are particularly welcome.
