The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics to begin September 2016. Requirements include a PhD in Economics (or expected by August 2016), a strong background in applied quantitative methods, and the ability to teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels. Preference will be given to candidates whose research and teaching focus is in applied macroeconomics, although exceptional candidates in behavioral economics will also be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach one of the department’s undergraduate research methods classes (econometrics or time series analysis) on an annual basis.
