The Department of Economics at Eastern Washington University seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start fall 2016. Position requires interest and expertise in Money and Banking, and secondarily Urban and Regional Economics, U.S. Economic History or Econometrics. All professors teach Principles courses. Starting salary follows College of Business and Public Administration criteria. Eastern Washington University is a regional, comprehensive institution where excellent teaching must be supplemented with an appropriate research program. Application screening will begin 11/1/2015. Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics or evidence of completion within six months after appointment; evidence of instructional experience and success at least at the assistantship level; evidence of an active research agenda appropriate to Economics. Prefer teaching and research ability in more than one of the listed fields, and interest in online instruction.
