The Department of Economics in the College of Business Administration, University of Nebraska--Omaha (UNO) announces a tenure-track assistant professor position in macroeconomics/international economics to begin August 2016. The department offers degrees at both the undergraduate and Master’s level. The ideal candidate will have a propensity to produce high quality academic research and will be expected to teach macroeconomics at the introductory, intermediate, and graduate levels, as well as international economic development and international economics at the graduate and advanced undergraduate level. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a strong willingness and aptitude for collaborating with Omaha area businesses and other organizations in both teaching and research activities. Experience or interest in delivering on-line or blended courses is desirable. Candidates must have a PhD in economics, or expect to complete their degree by August 15th, 2016.

The College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska--Omaha, an AACSB accredited institution, is located in the heart of Omaha: a metropolitan area of 877,000. Omaha is home to five Fortune 500 firms and has a strong business environment. UNO offers about 200 programs of study to 12,200 undergraduate and 2,850 graduate students. Despite its size, small classes are the norm.
