The Department of Economics, Business and Finance at Lake Forest College invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin fall 2016. Ph.D. in economics or finance required. Successful applicants will be able to teach core courses and electives in both economics and finance. Research in any field broadly related to finance is acceptable. Prior work experience in the finance industry would be valued. The teaching load is 3-3, typically with 4 preps. Ability to mentor students in research is desired.

A highly selective liberal arts college located on Chicago’s North Shore, Lake Forest College enrolls approximately 1,600 students from over 43 states and 73 countries. At Lake Forest College, the quality of a faculty member’s teaching is the most important criterion for evaluation.
