The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Roanoke College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in August 2016. Teaching duties include teaching Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics and Environmental Economics. In addition, candidates are expected to teach courses in general studies curriculum including Intellectual Inquiry and Intensive Learning courses (which may be designed by the professor).

Other duties include a commitment to quality academic advising, college service, program assessment and educational improvement, and to the mission and vision of Roanoke College. Research and professional development are expected and financially supported through travel funds and internal grants. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics and teaching experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
