Tenure-track opening at the assistant professor level, subject to administrative approval and starting August 2016. Candidates must have satisfied all requirements for the Ph.D. in economics or related field by time of appointment and have a specialty in international economics. The successful candidate will teach international and global economics, as well as principles, intermediate theory, development, environmental economics, sustainability, behavioral economics and/or experimental economics. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work with students from diverse backgrounds. SUNY Oswego’s economics department is dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education and research. We serve approximately 150 majors and minors in economics and applied mathematical economics, as well as business and education students. We also support interdisciplinary programs in Global Studies, Women’s Studies, and Language and International Trade. SUNY Oswego has 8,000 students and is located on the shores of Lake Ontario.
