The University of Virginia's Department of Economics of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences invites applications for multiple positions at all tenure-track and tenured ranks (Assistant/Associate/Professor) in all fields, with a particular emphasis on micro-economics. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in the application of frontier methods to questions across fields such as labor, public, development, I/O, and trade. Candidates are expected to have an outstanding research record relative to rank, along with the capacity to teach and advise Ph.D. students in their research.
Apply by December 1, 2015. The position will remain open until filled.
The anticipated appointment start date will be August 25, 2016. Applicants must be on track to receive a Ph.D. in the relevant field by May 2016 and must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment.
