The Department of Resource Economics invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Applied Econometrics/Microeconomics/Managerial Economics. Teaching responsibilities will include up to six sections per year of undergraduate and Masters level courses. An ability to teach in both face-to-face and online formats to students is highly desirable. The successful applicant will teach two sections (one spring, one fall) of the Department’s core undergraduate introductory computing course. Other courses may include introductory and intermediate microeconomics, introductory and intermediate statistics, managerial economics, and introductory econometrics.

Requirements:
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in agricultural/resource/applied economics, economics, or closely related field before the start date (January 1, 2016).

Additional Information:
The Department of Resource Economics has 13 faculty members, 300 undergraduate majors, and about 20 graduate students (one-half Ph.D.). We place special emphases on faculty-student interaction and cooperation among faculty. We share a fundamental commitment to teach and attract a diverse student body.
