The Finance and Risk practice advises clients in the financial services sector to adapt their finance and risk management strategies to evolving supervisory expectations, competition within the banking sector and capital markets dynamics. Our recent projects have covered topics including:

• Risk measurement frameworks, such as Economic Capital and Stress Testing
• Strategic financial resource management initiatives
• Analytical modelling with a focus on development and validation of financial and non-financial risk models, portfolio/instrument level valuation models and strategic planning and forecasting models
• Asset / liability, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk management
• Finance, Risk and Treasury focused governance and organizational design

• Managing the execution of individual project modules; developing hypotheses, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, and surfacing insights.
• Supporting our Partner group in project delivery through accurate and high quality case execution
• Management of junior team; effectively providing leverage for the senior project staff

The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Minimum of four years post-graduate experience in consulting, or project-based, team-oriented environments
• Track record of ideally leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
• Strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to apply depth of content knowledge for thought leadership in project execution, and to develop new intellectual capital to support business development activities
• Outstanding communication skills; confidence in presenting to senior executives
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Willingness to travel
