Applied Econometrician Opportunities

USAA is looking for applied econometricians who have experience developing or validating models used in the financial services industry. A Director, Enterprise Risk Analytics will lead a newly-formed internal team that includes Analysts at the Senior and entry level (Analyst I).

Minimum Requirements:
Depends on which position (Director, Lead, Sr. Analyst, or Analyst I) and ranges from recent PhD with no industry experience to requirement for 4 years of industry experience for the Director job.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a model validation function at a major financial institution.
Masters or PhD degree in Economics with an econometric emphasis or in Statistics.
Experience developing statistical models at an insurance, bank, or investment company.
