Develop leadership in the department’s research & teaching programs in applied economics and agribusiness economics with an emphasis on international trade and agricultural policy. Exceptional quantitative skills are expected to strengthen your research and teaching program. Teaching responsibilities at the graduate and undergraduate levels will depend upon the needs of the department. Candidate will be expected to establish a well-funded and quality research program; develop leadership, collaboration among departmental colleagues; and carry out the mission of the CAPTS research center to enhance net farm income through in-depth trade and agricultural policy research for crop producers, ranchers, and decision makers in private and public sectors in the Northern Plains region.
