Open Rank Visiting Professor
Fall 2015, Winter 2016 and Spring 2016

The Department of Economics at the University of California, Riverside is seeking to hire three
Visiting Professors at an open rank for a 100% time appointment for 2015-16 academic year. The
Visiting Professor(s) will be responsible for teaching two courses per quarter. Also, actively
engaged in research with departmental faculty and graduate students and participating in the
departmental seminar program.

Courses to be considered are:
Fall 2015
ECON 003: Introduction to Microeconomics
ECON 101: Statistics for Economics
ECON 103: Intermediate Macroeconomics
ECON 107: Introductory Econometrics
ECON 130: Introduction to Money, Banking, and Credit
ECON 135: Stock Market

Winter 2016
ECON 003: Introduction to Microeconomics (two sections)
ECON 123: American Economic History
ECON 130: Introduction to Money, Banking, and Credit
ECON 135: Stock Market
ECON 178: International Trade

Spring 2016
ECON 002: Introduction to Macroeconomics (two sections)
ECON 129: Health Economics
ECON 136: Empirical Financial Economics
ECON 146: Urban Economic Problems
ECON 178: International Trade

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Economics and at least one (1) year of college or university level
teaching. The salary for these positions is $9,000 per course. Positions are contingent on final
budget approval.
