The Inter-University Centre on Risk, Economic Policies, and Employment (CIRPÉE; www.cirpee.org) and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CIRRIS; www.cirris.ulaval.ca) will have an opening for a joint Research Associate position, starting September 2015. Primary criteria are the quality of the applicant's research and interest/experience in health economics, labor economics including a focus on the socio-economic impacts of disabilities. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as opportunities for collaboration with faculty and graduate students to actively start intellectual activities at both CIRPÉE and CIRRIS. The selected applicant will be considered as a scholar of CIRRIS (the official employer) but will be encouraged to submit an application to the Department of Economics as adjunct professor and to participate in the teaching program of the economics department at Université Laval if mutually agreed. Startup research funding is also provided.

Applicants should have received a Ph.D. within the last 3 years (or expected by September 2015). A completed post-doctoral training is an asset. Appointment will be for an initial two-year period and can be extended for up to two additional years based on satisfactory evaluations.
