The Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) seeks applicants for a full-time lecturer position, starting Summer 2015. The successful candidate will teach graduate economics courses in the MBA and the M.S. in Manpower program, including business modeling, statistics, economics for defense managers, manpower requirement determination for Naval officers, and personnel models. The applicant will teach in both the resident program and in the distance-learning program, and will advise Master's theses. Applicants must have a PhD in Economics, must be interested in engaging in defense-related research, and should be US citizens.
NPS is nation's premier defense graduate university, located in scenic Monterey/Carmel of California. Our students are officers from all branches of the military and several foreign countries. We teach small classes, and our intimate connection to the Department of Defense offers unique opportunities for access to both data and research funding.
