The Department of Finance in the School of Management at University of San Francisco is seeking to fill a 1-year term position at the Assistant or Associate Professor in fixed income with another subfield in applied finance. The position will begin in the Fall of 2015.

Applicants should be qualified to teach fixed income and one or more of the following areas: derivatives or portfolio management at the master’s levels. Familiarity with MatLab, STATA, and R is desirable.

The successful applicant will have sole teaching responsibility in the Master of Science in Financial Analysis (MSFA) program - an Academic Program Partner of the CFA Institute. We are especially interested in candidates with financial market experience and familiarity with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program and its curriculum.

We prefer candidates with an earned doctorate in Finance or Economics by Fall 2015.

We are also interested in considering faculty who are on leave or who desire a visiting position in the Bay Area for one year. Please feel free to pass this opportunity along to any of your colleagues who you think might be interested.
