The Department of Economics invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2015-16 academic year. We seek a candidate prepared to teach introductory microeconomics and additional electives including at least one of the following: game theory; industrial organization; health economics; behavioral economics; experimental economics; law and economics; or micro-level development.
Teaching load is two courses each semester. Bowdoin values a commitment to research, a promise of successful scholarly engagement, and dedication to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. Requirements for Ph.D. expected to have been completed at the time of appointment; however, advanced ABDs will be considered.
