The Economics Department at the University of Hartford invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position, for the academic year 2015-2016. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics with an emphasis in Urban/Regional Economics. (Advanced ABD candidates will be considered.) The successful candidate will be expected to deliver excellent teaching, conduct high quality research, and engage in service activities. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics and an elective course in Urban/Regional Economics. Recent teaching experience is required.
