This is a twelve-month, tenure-track position defined as approximately 60% research and 40% teaching, with responsibility to teach and advise at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should have expertise in environmental and resource economics and policy. A typical course load is three courses per year, with current needs including a graduate applied econometrics course.

The successful candidate will develop a nationally recognized research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals, obtain external grant funding, participate in professional societies, and develop excellence in instruction and advising. A willingness to work with teams on interdisciplinary problems is desirable.

A Ph.D. in agricultural economics, economics, or closely related field with an emphasis on environmental and resource-related problems is required.

Salary is open and competitive. Benefits include TIAA-CREF retirement, group health and life insurance, vacation, disability, and family leave. Faculty consulting leave is permitted, subject to approval.
