The position, for a highly skilled and motivated research assistant will be located at Stanford University starting in the fall of 2015. Upon mutual agreement, the position will continue for a second year at Yale University. Preference will be given to applicants who have the potential to work for two years or more.
The candidate will collaborate closely with a research team on research projects in the fields of health economics. Examples of previous research: research assistant http://www.econ.yale.edu/~ak669/research.html.
Candidates should have a long-term interest in economic. Prior background in health economics or public finance is useful but not necessary. Position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their empirical research skills in preparation for applying to PhD programs in economics or related fields.
Preference given to detail-oriented applicants with programming experience, particularly in working with large datasets with software such as Stata, SAS, or Matlab.
Salary will be competitive with other research assistant positions.
