Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Economic and Policy Analysis Research Center at the University of Missouri seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow to carry out and publish original, policy-relevant research on educator pensions and pension reform. The fellow will have access to extensive micro datasets on teachers and compensation in various states. A portion of the fellow’s time will be devoted to coauthored team research projects on educator pensions and a portion will be set aside for individually-directed related research. Funding will be made available for some conference travel. Teaching is not required.

The term of the fellowship is two years. Candidates will receive a stipend of $65,000 annually, as well as access to the resources available at the University of Missouri including workspace, seminars, library privileges, and health benefits. Requirements:
1. PhD or ABD in economics, public policy, education policy or related field.
2. Demonstrated interest in the research area and possession of strong quantitative skills. Content training will be provided.
3. Highly motivated
