Applications are invited for a position in the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich, starting in fall 2015. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Economics with specialization in macroeconomics or public finance and have an excellent record of academic achievements in the relevant fields. Depending on qualification and record, the appointment can be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The department is a leading European center of economic research and teaching that represents a wide range of interests in all areas of economics, including econometrics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and neuroeconomics. With its strong focus on high quality research and with more than 20 professorships in diverse fields, the Department of Economics offers a vibrant and stimulating research environment.
