The Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Staten Island / CUNY seeks to fill an anticipated full‐time tenure‐track vacancy at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Finance with a specialization in business analytics and large scale data analysis beginning in Fall 2015. The ideal candidate will teach business data analytics, financial markets, corporate finance, and advanced electives.

The College of Staten Island, one of the 11 senior colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY), is centrally located on a 204‐acre campus in New York City and enrolls approximately 14,000 students. The College offers Associate, Baccalaureate and Master Degree programs, and participates in the challenging doctoral programs of The City University Graduate School and University Center. In addition to our undergraduate Finance program, we offer Masters Programs in Management and Accounting and have a newly approved Advanced Certificate Program in Business Analytics of Large Scale Data that will enroll its first class in Fall 2015.

Responsibilities include engagement in an active and productive research agenda; teaching basic and advanced courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in finance and data analysis and performing department and college service.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics or related field. ABD applicants will be considered.
- Ability to teach a variety of finance-related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Evidence of publications in refereed journals, or potential thereof, required
- Candidates with a strong research record preferred
- Evidence of superior teaching is highly desirable
