The Canisius College Department of Economics & Finance, housed in the Richard J. Wehle School of Business, is seeking applicants for a tenure track opening at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels beginning August 2015. Applicants must possess or soon expect to receive a Ph.D. in either Economics or Finance. Candidates whose teaching and research interests are in Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, or International Finance are encouraged to apply. The position requires effective teaching at the undergraduate and MBA levels as well as a program of scholarly research. The standard teaching load is 3 courses per semester and includes Principles of Economics and/or Business Statistics. The compensation package is competitive for AACSB accredited institutions.

Canisius College is located in Buffalo, New York and serves approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Economics & Finance department is comprised of 11 faculty members and serves more than 260 undergraduate majors as well as an MBA concentration in Finance.
