Seeking candidates for a twelve month, tenure-leading faculty position with an appointment of 70% research and 30% teaching. The incumbent will work with interdisciplinary teams to design and/or evaluate production and ecosystem management systems that incorporate spatially explicit data in general, and specifically to design and evaluate site-specific management farming technologies.

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate classes in resource economics and/or precision/farm, and possibly developing a graduate level spatial economic analysis course. Required qualifications include: PhD in Agricultural Economics, Economics or related field at the time of employment; microeconomic spatial modeling skills and experience with statistical analysis of large datasets; excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications include: knowledge of agricultural production systems; appreciation of ecological principles; experience with GIS, R, and other spatial software; exhibited ability to work in teams and provide program leadership.
